These terms govern your use of CodeMySpec (“the Service”), operated by CodeMySpec (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CodeMySpec, you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

The Service

CodeMySpec is a development platform that provides structured workflows for building Phoenix applications with AI assistance. The Service includes:

  • A web application for managing user stories, architecture, and components
  • MCP (Model Context Protocol) servers for AI agent integration
  • A CLI tool for local development workflows
  • Content and documentation

Your Account

  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
  • You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
  • You must provide a valid email address to register.
  • One person, one account. Shared accounts are not permitted.

Your Code and Data

  • You own your code. We do not claim any rights to code generated through or managed by CodeMySpec.
  • Your project data stays yours. User stories, architecture definitions, component specs, and other project artifacts belong to you.
  • We may store your data to provide the Service. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

Acceptable Use

Don’t use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or systems
  • Transmit malware or malicious content

Availability and Changes

  • The Service is provided “as is” without guarantees of uptime or availability.
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
  • We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Intellectual Property

  • The CodeMySpec platform, including its code, design, and documentation, is our intellectual property.
  • Content published on the CodeMySpec blog and documentation is available for reference and citation with attribution.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, CodeMySpec is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.

Termination

  • You can stop using the Service at any time. Contact us to delete your account.
  • We may terminate or suspend your account for violations of these terms.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
